The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) is present at the 29th ABED International Congress on Distance Education, taking place from September 15th to 18th in the city of Brasília. Representing Esmat, civil servers Maria Luiza Nascimento and João Lucas Gomes Rabelo Aguiar, from the Center of Postgraduate in EaD, are taking part in the event, which is a reference in the debate on distance education in Brazil.
The congress is an important space for discussion on the regulation of superior and corporate education, addressing innovations and challenges for the future of teaching. The theme of this year is Quality and Excellence in Distance Education. Esmat, a pioneer in offering distance learning courses in the State of Tocantins since 2010, is strengthening its role by taking part in the most current and relevant debates in the sector.
Participation in the event is part of the accreditation process of Esmat to offer postgraduate distance learning courses, expanding the reach of the school to all the courts in the State of Tocantins.
“Attending this congress is essential for us to align our expansion strategies and keep up to date with the best practices in distance education,” said Maria Luiza.
