The event also aims to bring a debate on a draft resolution that will establish guidelines on ethics, transparency and governance in the production and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Brazilian judiciary.

The draft resolution indicates changes to the Resolution 332/2020 of the CNJ. The text was developed by the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence in the Judiciary of the CNJ (GTIA) and establishes the foundations for the development, governance, auditing and responsible use of artificial intelligence solutions by the courts.

A thorough assessment of the risks of using AI by the courts is also among the new guidelines proposed in the draft. It will be up to each body to carry out a preliminary assessment of solutions using artificial intelligence techniques before they are produced or introduced into service.
