The Meeting of Permanent Chiefs of Justice and the General Internal Affairs of Justice of the State of Tocantins (Encope) ended in the early evening of Thursday (February 8th) with the drafting of the Letter of the 3rd Encoge. The event, which took place between February 7th and 8th, promoted the debate on important issues affecting the judiciary and the exchange of good practices between the courts.
Together, solutions for routines and the improvement of judicial provision were constructed by the permanent magistrates during the thematic workshops held on the themes of "Challenges for the Chief of Justice to meet the targets of the CNJ", "Understanding the new compliance in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins", "Use of new technologies combined with social networks by the Chief of Justice" and "The leadership profile of the Chief of Justice".
The workshops resulted in deliberations presented at the final plenary session, chaired by the Chief of Justice, Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal. The 3rd Letter of the city of Palmas was approved with the following statements:
- DEVELOP standardized, assertive and timely communication channels with internal and external users;
- STUDY the feasibility of unifying ordinary inspections at the CGJUS by automating SICOR, using AI and the qualified staff of the General Internal Affairs Department;
- DEVELOP a manual to standardize the execution of warrants using social media (WhatsApp and AI);
- ENVITE institutional efforts so that the national targets of the CNJ are measured in a period other than the calendar year (e.g. the Judicial Year);
- ENABLE the designation of a server on loan, free of charge to the Court, to work as a bailiff, with payment of the respective indemnities;
- ENABLE the assignee and the trainee to work remotely/telepresencially, given the 100% electronic reality of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, which makes it possible to monitor and provide adequate guidance, including through supervision centers;
- PROMOTE the technical and legal training of Chiefs of Justice and the correctional team in the supervision of extrajudicial services, as well as in the conduct of disciplinary administrative proceedings against agents;
- CREATE an General Internal Affairs Technical Support Unit to analyze the accounts provided by the interims and intervenors;
- PROMOTE training for delegates, interims, interventors and agents of extrajudicial units, with a view to standardize the interpretation of the items in the table of fees.
"This meeting was very important because it promoted interaction between the judges, it was a space for us to share demands and look for the best solutions to each problem," said the corregidor at the end of the meeting, thanking the Escola Superior da Magistratura Tocantinense (Esmat) for its partnership in organizing the event.
Still according to the Justice, the General Internal Affairs will always be open to contribute to the evolution of the Judiciary. "We are available to receive suggestions and to work together in order to improve our work more and more, as happened here today, when we reached this consensus of statements," she concluded.
