This Friday (February 9th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) opens registrations for the sixteenth edition of the International Congress on Human Rights. The event is taking place in Portugal and Spain. The activities aim to promote debate on the new challenges for improving the effectiveness of jurisdiction and the defense of human rights in the Brazilian Judiciary compared to the Portuguese and Spanish Judiciary.
With the theme "Jurisdiction and Human Rights from an Iberian-Brazilian Perspective", the Congress will be held on February 19th, 21st and 23rd in Lisbon, Porto and Barcelona. Although it will take place in person in Lisbon, Porto and Barcelona, the event will be broadcast to the Brazilian community in real time. This action is consolidating the internationalization of the program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights, a requirement for evaluation by CAPES.
