At the official opening of the event, the vice-president of the TJTO, Justice Ângela Prudente, stressed that by promoting a solid security culture, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins not only shields itself from potential threats, but strengthens confidence of society in the integrity and responsibility of this institution towards justice.

"Our aim is for the content offered to resonate with every action taken in this Court, with a view for ensuring the physical and informational integrity of our staff and the safeguarding of our institution," said the vice-president of the TJTO.

During the lecture, the expert provoked the participants to reflect on the need for institutional security and addressed the issue in the context of new technologies and socio-cultural transformations. He also discussed the differences between organic security and active security.

In addition, the PhD in Military Sciences alerted the participants to possible threats to institutional security, such as fraud and espionage, and stressed the importance of all sectors of the TJTO, not just the security sector, working to protect the institution.

When asked about the importance of talking about this, not only for the security staff, but also for those in other sectors, the expert said: "This is not just for the security sector. It's an action that must be carried out by all members of the institution, all sectors have security responsibilities, not only the sectors but also the members of them, each one has and must fulfill their attributions and responsibilities according to their functions."
