Workshops Prepare Civil Servers And Judges For Retirement

With the aim of preparing the civil servers and magistrates of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins for a smoother and more conscious transition to retirement, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) started the Preparation for Retirement Workshops on Tuesday (September 26th). The event is taking place in the auditorium of Esmat and it will continue until the 28th (Thursday).

Márcia Vieira Mesquita, Director of People Management at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), emphasized the importance of preparing for retirement in advance. "This is an extremely important activity, and the Directorate of People Management (DGP) is proud and honored to intend this special moment of preparation with you. You are here to reflect a little on a transition, on this change of life, to prepare for a new cycle. We don't have to look for this information only at the end, we need to know about this process of transformation, of readjusting our lives," she explained.

Rogério Lopes da Conceição, project coordinator and employee of Esmat, highlighted the importance of preparing people for retirement, with a focus on productivity. "We're starting this week of preparation for the extension of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins today, and the outlook is very good. We have a full class, forty people. Our idea is to really prepare people for retirement, but with a focus on productivity while they are still at work," he said.

Expectations of registrants

The workshop participants shared their expectations of the event. Rosi Souza Guimarães da Guarda, a clerk, expressed her wish that the days at the workshop would provide not only knowledge, but also direction for the future. "I hope that these days at the workshop bring us the possibility of retiring with peace of mind, that they add knowledge and also give us direction to do something after retirement," she said.

Celma Lino Pereira Guida, a judicial assistant from the district of Miracema, revealed that she is looking to gain knowledge from the workshops on how to face retirement in a healthy way. "I hope to acquire knowledge; that these workshops can help us not to be anxious and to have a healthy life with a quality retirement," she added.

Communication among institutions

In addition to members of the Judiciary, other institutions are also playing an active role in preparing for retirement. The employees of the Social Security Management Institute of the State of Tocantins, Carolina and Géssica, signed up for the workshops with the aim of understanding the vision of TJTO and looking for ways to help the institution.

Director of Social Security of Igeprev, Carolina Ramos Nogueira, pointed out the purpose of her participation in the event. "We're also going to start working on social security education at Igeprev. So we came to see the vision of the Court, what it understands, to find the best ways to look for and put together a complete project that will help all civil servers in the State of Tocantins," she said.

Géssica Gomes Carneiro, a civil server in the Benefits Concession and Review Department, is looking to add to the knowledge she already has at the Institute. "As an employee of the State Social Security Management Institute, I'm looking to add knowledge to what we already have, about the necessary preparation for before and after the withdrawal," she said.
