Registrations are open for the 5th Seminar on Restorative Justice and 4th Meeting of Restorative Justice Facilitators

Having as proposal to capacitate and update the participants so that they can contribute with the improvement and refinement of the activities developed in the application of restorative practices, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold, on November 18th, the V Restorative Justice Seminar and the IV Restorative Justice Facilitators Meeting.

The event will be held virtually, through the Virtual Platform of Esmat, by Google Meet, from 8am to 12pm. In the occasion, it will be discussed topics such as "The importance of peace building circles in the school environment"; "Application of Restorative Justice in contexts of Domestic Violence"; and "Restorative Justice in Criminal Courts and Criminal Enforcement".

There are 300 vacancies available for magistrates, servers from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; members of the Multidisciplinary Teams Management Group (GGEM); restorative facilitators working in the State of Tocantins; members of the State Prosecution, OAB and the Office of the Public Defender of the State of Tocantins; teachers from the State school system and from the city of Palmas; professors from universities associated with Esmat; civil servers from SSP, PM, PC, Scientific Police, CBM, SECIJU and SEDUC; and law students.

With a class load of 4 hours, the Seminar will have the participation of the Peace Construction Circles instructor and facilitator, Taynã Nunes Quixabeira; the professor from the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley (UNIVASF), Juliana Tonche; and the Judge Antônio Dantas de Oliveira Júnior.
