The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) is open for registrations until June 5th for the Practical Laboratory of Generative Artificial Intelligence (IAGen) - Classes III and IV. Judge Wellington Magalhães, coordinator of the course, pointed out that
"The activity is strategic to ensure that judicial professionals are aligned with national guidelines on the ethical and efficient use of Artificial Intelligence, ensuring quality and agility in the judicial provision. Furthermore, this training is increasingly becoming indispensable for the use of Artificial Intelligence by the Judiciary, since the correct application of these technologies can positively transform the administration of justice".
The training is aimed at judges, advisors and civil servers from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and it will be held in person on June 12th and 13th at Esmat in the city of Palmas.
The 16-hour course will cover everything from the fundamentals and applications of AI in the Judiciary to advanced techniques for use and supervised practice with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Studio.
The aim is to enable participants to understand and apply Generative Artificial Intelligence tools in the judicial context, with a view to optimize the procedural process, automating repetitive tasks and improving the drafting of judicial decisions and sentences.
The content will be taught by Professors Haroldo Carneiro Leão Sobrinho, Irving William Chaves Holanda and Guilherme Carvalheira, specialists in Digital Law and Applied Artificial Intelligence.
