Course On Financial Education For Consumers: My Bills Up To Date At Cejusc Starts This Friday (October 11th)

This Friday (October 11th), at the Cejusc facilities of the Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra), unit of the city of Palmas, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) held the first meeting of the course on Financial Education for Consumers: My Bills Up to Date at Cejusc - Class 8. The course content covers judicial and psychosocial support, in accordance with the Recommendation No. 125 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) of 2021.

The training aims to enable consumers, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code, to participate in conciliatory hearings and elaborate a Payment Plan, offering psychosocial support and financial education. The training is essential in view of the Law No. 14,181 of 2021, which introduced new rules for the prevention and treatment of over-indebtedness.
