The Course Legal Mark in Early Childhood gathers tens of professionals at Esmat

The first day of the course Legal Mark in Early Childhood gathered about 80 people among magistrates, servers, precinct chiefs active in Childhood and Youth and the right operators. Held by the National Justice Council (CNJ) in partnership with the National Training and Improvement of Magistrates School (Enfam) and the School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT), the live step is going until next Thursday 12nd, at the School head office in Palmas.

The course opening had the presence of the judge Milene de Carvalho Henrique the National Justice Council (CNJ) representative and the National Training and Improvement of Magistrates School (ENFAM) representative, Ana Lourdes Vilela. According to the course coordinator, judge Frederico Paiva B. de Souza, it was a greatful surprise the number of attendees registered in this first phase, in live modality, with two days of training. “We had a significant number of participants for this first phase”, he has emphasized.

About the professionals challenges associated with the promotion of the children and adolescents from Tocantins rights, Judge Frederico Paiva has reinforced the necessity of a greater commitment from the public administrators that integrate the protection network in relation to the public resources management for its effective application in favor the children-youth public. “The challenge is huge, because, as a rule, the managers even have knowledge about what the legislation requires, however, for the system user, who is at the tip of the service, the impression is different, whatever, the one that the public policies for the childhood are not prioritized. Then, the big challenge is to mobilize and sensitize the public managers, as well as the protection network, for the public policies influenced by the referred thematic be accomplished indeed”, he has affirmed.

According to the precinct chief Lorrany Almeida da Silva, from the 4th Specialized Station of Attendance to Women and Vulnerable (DEAMV) of Colinas, in the northern-central region of the State, in some cases the legislation does not destine attention or policies directed toward the early childhood. However, the precinct chief affirms that the reality is changing, but it needs a professional’s effort that will act in service to whoever needs. “At the Station where I act I notice that the attendance to children on that first training phase needs to be improved. So that course comes bringing new approaches and of a great importance for the developed work”, she has emphasized.

Directed to magistrates, public prosecutors, public defenders, lawyers, precinct chiefs, police officers and psychosocial staff of the system of rights guarantee in Tocantins state, the course is a forming action of the National Pact for the Early Childhood, coordinated by CNJ, that has as a goal strengthen the public institutions directed to the collective and diffuse rights provided in Brazilian legislation and promote the improvement of the necessary infrastructure to the child interest protection, and to the administrative improbity of the public servers that have the duty of applying the Legal Mark in Early Childhood.
