PAC 2026: More Training, Innovation And New Postgraduate Courses On The Horizon Of Esmat

On the eve of the end-of-year recess, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) presents to the internal and external community the Annual Training Plan for 2026 (PAC 2026), a robust document that materializes the institutional commitment to continuing education, strategic and aligned to the contemporary challenges of the Judiciary.

For 2026, the PAC plans 162 training activities, totaling 6,205 hours of training, distributed in 13 thematic axes that structure, throughout the year, the qualification process of magistrates, civil servers and other public attended by the School.

The planning also stands out for the diversity of formats, broadening the scope and ensuring more flexibility to the participants: 37 activities are planned in the EaD (Distance Learning Education) modality, 92 in person and 33 semi-presential, combining pedagogical innovation, accessibility and qualified interaction.

For the general director of Esmat, Justice Marco Villas Boas, CAP 2026 goes beyond an annual planning tool and represents a forward-looking vision for the judicial education.

“The Annual Training Plan for 2026 reflects the institutional maturity and confidence of Esmat in the path we are building. We have great prospects for the coming year, with an increasingly innovative training, connected to technological changes, without losing sight of the commitment to human values, ethics and quality of judicial service. We continue to advance with optimism, planning and collective spirit, certain that investing in people is the greatest differential of the Judiciary", he said.

From PAC 2025 to PAC 2026: solid planning and concrete results

PAC 2026 is the result of a continuous cycle of planning and improvement. In 2025, the plan provided for 145 activities and 4,803 hours of training. However, the execution significantly exceeded initial expectations.

Over the course of 2025, Esmat carried out 228 activities, offered 33,791 vacancies and registered 15,033 certifications, contemplating face-to-face, EaD and hybrid actions. The figures show not only quantitative growth, but also institutional capacity for adaptation, expansion and delivery of concrete results.

In addition to the expansion of the volume of actions, PAC 2026 reinforces an increasingly present strategic agenda in institutional daily life, with emphasis on technology, data protection and governance, without losing balance with structuring and sensitive areas such as Human Rights, Accessibility, Sustainability and Public Policies.

New Post-Graduation courses in radar

Planning for 2026 also signals two academic movements of great relevance and that already arouse interest in the community: the MBA in Applied Artificial Intelligence and the LATO SENSU Post-Graduation in Judicial Practice (PRJud).

The notices of both courses will be published in 2026, considering the necessary institutional and legal procedures. In the case of the PRJud, the project already has the approval of the Presidency, with its launch scheduled for next year due to these formal steps.

The document reaffirms Esmat as a space for innovation, academic excellence and commitment to the strengthening of judicial provision, projecting a year of intense deliveries, qualified training and institutional impact.
