The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT) released the selection process of the Professional and Interdisciplinary Post-Graduation Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH) for entry in the first semester of 2026. The selection includes Class 14 of the Master (2026-2027) and Class 2 of the Doctorate (2026-2029).
Registrations must be made from January 15th to 30th of 2026, exclusively by the Contest Management System (CMS) of Esmat, closing at 4:59 pm on the last day. The registration fee is R$ 150.00, according to the guidelines of the notice.
In the Master’s, the notice provides 25 vacancies, distributed by institutional groups and general public. Vacancies are planned for the TJTO (Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins) (10), TRT-10 (Regional Labor Court of the 10th Region) (3), TRE/TO (Regional Electoral Court of the state of Tocantins) (4), MPTO (State Prosecution of Tocantins) (4), UFT (Federal University of the state of Tocantins) (1) and general public (3). Of the total, 2 vacancies are intended for affirmative action, according to the rules established in the notice.
In the Doctorate, there are 15 vacancies, distributed among TJTO (9), MPTO (2), TRE/TO (2), UFT (1) and general public (1). The notice provides 1 vacancy for affirmative action, indicated in the internal distribution of the TJTO.
In both processes, the selection takes place in three stages: approval of applications (qualifying), evaluation of the project with interview (qualifying) and proof of titles/ barema (qualifying). The schedule is also already established: in the Master’s degree, the selection process extends from January 15th to February 27th, 2026, with classes starting on March 2nd. In the PhD, the schedule runs from January 15th to March 6th, 2026, with classes scheduled to begin on March 23rd.

Selection commission
The composition of the selection commissions for the Master’s and Doctorate has been published in own notices. In both cases, the chair is Doctor Professor Tarsis Barreto Oliveira, with participation of professors of the program, among them, Justice Angela Issa Haonat, and the PhD professors Lisiane Paixão Silva Oliveira and Patrícia Medina, besides other members indicated in official documents.
