The Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem) elected by acclamation on Friday (Dec 5th), the new composition of the Executive Board and the Fiscal Council for the 2026-2027 biennium. The "Integration" Plate, only registered in the electoral process, was elected by acclamation by the directors of the Judicial Schools and the Judges, during the LXI Meeting of the College, in the city of Curitiba, state of Paraná (Brazil).
Reappointed to the presidency of Copedem, Justice Marco Anthony Steveson Villas Boas, general director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), will continue to head the institution.
In his testimony, the president thanked his pairs for their trust and highlighted the importance of judicial schools working together to provide critical and continuous training for the Brazilian Judiciary.
“More than managing, our role is to integrate. Copedem has been this space of cooperation and listening, where we renew the duty with an ethical judicial education, inclusive and tuned to the challenges of our time", he commented.
The Executive Board of the Committee shall be composed by the following members:
- Vice President - Academic Director of International Courses and Agreements: Justice Márcio Vidal (School of the Judges of the state of Mato Grosso)
- Vice President - Administrative Director: Justice Roberto Portugal Bacellar (Judicial School of the state of Paraná)
- Financial Director: Justice Célia Regina de Lima Pinheiro (Judicial School of the state of Pará)
- Deputy Financial Director: Justice Júlio César Costa de Oliveira (School of the Judges of the state of Espírito Santo)
- 1st Secretary: Justice Rommel Araújo (Judicial School of the state of Amapá)
- 2nd Secretary: Justice Tânia Maria Brandão Vasconcelos (Judicial School of the state of Roraima)
The Audit Committee shall be composed by the following magistrates:
- Justice Joriza Magalhães Pinheiro (School of the Judges of the state of Ceará)
- Justice Luiz Vitório Camolez (Judicial School of the state of Acre)
- Justice Gislene Pinheiro de Oliveira (TJDFT Judicial Training School)
- Flávio Humberto Pascarelli Lopes (Superior School of the Judges of the state of Amazonas)
- Judge Rafaela Mattioli Somma (School of the Judges of the state of Paraná (Emap)
The election followed the rite provided for in the Statute of Copedem and in the Notice of Convocation published on November 4th, under the Presidency of the Electoral Commission, conducted by Justice Caetano Levi Lopes.
