Since November 5th, all users of the administrative systems of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) must use Multiple Factor Authentication (MFA) for access to GISE, SEI, VPN and IDP systems. The measure meets the requirements established by the Ordinance no 140 of 2024 of the CNJ, which makes the adoption of this security resource mandatory in sensitive administrative systems throughout the country.

MFA is an additional layer of protection that requires, in addition to login and password, a second authentication factor, such as a code generated by the mobile app. The implementation aims to ensure more reliability in the identification of users and strengthen information security within the Judiciary.

The Directorate of Information Technology (DTINF) warns that failure to comply with the measure may result in blocking access to systems. The MFA requirement has already been implemented in Eproc and Google Workspace. In this second stage, the GISE, SEI, VPN and IDP systems were included. The next phase will include the eGesp system, with a forecast for the month of December.

To activate the Multiple Authentication Factor, the user must access the site idp.tjto.jus.br, follow to the left side menu, select "Account", then "Authentication" and click on "Two-Factor Application". Then you must click "Activate", enter again the login and password, follow the steps shown on the screen and complete the activation.

To facilitate the process, DTINF has provided two support materials: the Tutorial with images for MFA activation and the SEI Manual with updated instructions.

In case of doubts or difficulties in the configuration, the users can seek technical support through the Service Center, accessing the address https://servicedesk.tjto.jus.br/assystnet or by calling 0800 721-8044.
