Check Out The Courses And Events With Open Registrations At Esmat

Even during the academic recess, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) is already preparing for the return of activities in August. Several training courses and meetings are open for registrations for magistrates, civil servers, and other interested parties. Check out the schedule:

  • Course: “Who Wants/Can Be Black In Brazil? Positive Discrimination And The Need For Racial Hetero Identification Commissions” 

The training will be held from August 6th to 12th, in a hybrid format, with a workload of 20 class hours. The course was requested and it will be coordinated by Judge Arióstenis Guimarães Vieira, with the aim of training magistrates and civil servers in the implementation of affirmative action measures provided for in the Resolution No. 541 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) of 2023. Fifty places are available.

  • Ead Pro – Training Course For Tutors

Accredited by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), the course will take place from August 11th to October 10th, under the coordination of Judge Wellington Magalhães. There are 120 places available for magistrates, civil servers, professionals from partner institutions, members of other courts, and the community in general. Registrations are open until August 6th.

  • Course On Digital Transformation In The Judiciary – Class III

On August 7th and 8th, a new class of the course taught by Justice Marco Villas Boas, general director of the School and president of the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem), will be held in person at Esmat. There are 50 places available for magistrates and advisors.

  • Course: “Monitoring Decisions Of The Inter-American Human Rights System”

With a class load of 20 hours, the training will take place from August 4th to 14th, in a hybrid format. The course will be taught by Judge Roniclay Alves de Morais and Professor Valério de Oliveira Mazzuoli. Registrations are open until July 18th.

  • Preparatory Course For Teleworking

Coordinated by Judge Arióstenis Guimarães Vieira, the course is offered on a self-instructional basis and registrations are open until October 30th. The activity provides guidance to magistrates and civil servers on performing their duties while teleworking, in accordance with the Resolution No. 20 of the TJTO, of 2020.

  • EPROC Courses For 1st And 2nd Degrees

Until November 15th, magistrates, civil servers, legal residents, and interns can participate in self-instructional courses on the Eproc system. The training provides guidance on the correct use of the tool and procedural processing.

  • Update Course On Custody Hearings

Aimed at magistrates, civil servers, and professionals from Seciju and GMF, the course will take place from August 25th to September 30th, virtually, with a total of 45 hours. Registrations are open until August 18th.

  • Mosaic Jalapão Seminar

The event will be held on August 11th and 12th, with 160 places available for magistrates, civil servers, managers, representatives of civil society, affected communities, academics, and students. Registrations are open until August 11th.

  • IV Symposium On “Law And Health: Focus On The Judicialization Of Health”

In partnership with the Institute for Supplementary Health Studies (IESS), the symposium will take place on August 1st, starting at 8 a.m., in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The event will bring together experts and national authorities to discuss the impacts of the judicialization of health.
