The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) achieved an unprecedented score in the Index of Governance, Management and Infrastructure of Information and Communication Technology of the Judiciary 2024 (iGovTIC-JUD), analyzed annually by the National Council of Justice (CNJ). With a score of 90.60 in the General Result, the TJTO reached the “Level of Excellence” for the first time, surpassing the national average of 87.42 and achieving its best historical performance.
It scored 87.69 points in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service Management and 92.55 in ICT Governance and Management, being classified in the “excellence” category in the “maturity level” criterion. The term refers to the assessment of the degree of development and efficiency of an organization in the area of technology.
The Information Technology Director of the TJTO, Alice Carla de Sousa Setúbal, acknowledged the work and dedication of the entire (Dtinf) team, as well as highlighting the crucial role of the Presidency of the Court, with the actions carried out in this biennium that deal with investments in ICT infrastructure modernization actions and the increase in the workforce with the appointment of permanent civil servers to meet the Technology demands of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.
According to Roniclay Alves de Morais, an assistant Judge to the President of the TJTO, the TJTO is proud to have achieved excellence in the IGovTIC-JUD for the first time.
“It is about the recognition for the team at the Directorate of Information Technology and the effort the Court has been making to modernize and govern ICT service management, valuing people management, guaranteeing a swift, safe and effective justice and innovating through technology.”
About the iGovTIC-JUD
The Index of Governance, Management and Infrastructure of Information and Communication Technology of the Judiciary 2024 (iGovTIC-JUD) is a diagnosis made annually by the CNJ to measure the level of maturity of the bodies subject to its administrative control in information and communication technology initiatives. The aim is to monitor whether actions are in line with the National Information and Communication Technology Strategy (Entic-JUD).
iGovTIC-JUD seeks to record and promote improvements in the area of technology in the Judiciary, and it is one of the criteria for the Quality Award of the CNJ. The evaluation takes place through a questionnaire that collects information on different aspects of technology, such as digital transformation, user service, information systems, technological infrastructure, cloud services, information security and data protection.
