Justice Marco Villas Boas is one of the personalities honored by Emerj

Marco Villas Boas, presidente do Colégio Permanente de Diretores de Escolas Estaduais da Magistratura (COPEDEM) e diretor geral da Escola Superior da Magistratura Tocantinense (ESMAT)

In recognition of his contribution to the training of Brazilian magistrates, Justice Marco Villas Boas, president of the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of Magistracy (COPEDEM) and General Director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), was honored on December 13th, with the Medal of Merit of the School of the Judges of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) for the activities of diffusion and debates of the legal doctrine in the country, through face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual events that strengthened the Judicial Provision and the academic formation of magistrates in Brazil. 

Justice Cristina Gaulia, General Director of Emerj, remembered the importance of the work of the honorees, among them the president of Copedem. "Copedem, with the tireless work of its president, Justice Marco Villas Boas, has reached a level of excellence in virtual, hybrid, and in-person events that reinforce the concern of the College with the academic education of Brazilian magistrates," she said.
