Focus and Scope
The Journal of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins – ESMAT – objectives being a motivating instrument for the judicial knowledge diffusion produced by magistrates, students, professors, civil servers, lawyers, members of the State Prosecution and other members of the judicial community, in other words, a vehicle for the continuous improvement of discussions on the Law and Social Science in a way to stimulate the academic and scientific debate.
Evaluation Process by the Pairs
The received articles will be submitted to a previous evaluation by the Editorial Commission that will verify the adequacy to the editorial line of the Journal and to the general rules of publication. The articles that do not comply those requirements will be sent back to their authors, in order to be made the necessary changes.
Approved on that first step, the articles will be sent for analysis of the external referees, considering the respective thematic areas, by the double blind peer review process.
Free Access Politics
This journal adopts the open access model, making all its content available for free and immediately. It is assumed that free access to scientific knowledge contributes to the expansion and global democratization of information, allowing anyone to read, copy, distribute or use articles for legitimate purposes without prior authorization. This policy is aligned with the open access definition proposed by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
