Registrations are open until September 5th for registry of volunteers interested in acting during the 2nd Tocantins Jud Pop Street Task Force, initiative of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) together with several institutional partners. The activity will be held on September 12th, from 7 am to 6 pm, at the Almirante Tamandaré Full-time School in the city of Palmas.
The action mobilizes professionals and partner institutions in a large task force focused on legal, social and health care of the homeless population. Magistrates, civil servers and interns - active or inactive - of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and institutions participating in the 6/2024 Technical Cooperation Agreement may sign up.

Activities and social impact
The task force aims to guarantee priority service, without bureaucracy, to people in street situation and vulnerable, ensuring access to Justice and fundamental rights. Among the actions planned are:
- Screening and reception;
- Legal and health support;
- Issuance of documents;
- Social and citizenship services;
- Actions aimed at specific groups, such as the LGBTQIA+ population, victims of domestic violence and prisoners;
- "Solidary Hanger" with distribution of clothes, shoes and hygiene kits;
- Leisure and recreation activities;
- Rounds of conversation with a focus on rights and inclusion.
Compulsory training
Registered volunteers will participate in a preliminary orientation on September 9th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the TJTO. During the meeting, logistical issues, service strategies, and the role of each team in the event will be discussed.
Volunteers may work morning shifts (7 a.m. to 1 p.m.), afternoon shifts (12 p.m. to 6 p.m.), or full shifts (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.), depending on the availability of each participant.
Certification And Logistics
Participation guarantees a certificate of 14 hours, issued by Esmat, provided that the steps of registration, guidance and performance on the day of the mission are completed, in addition to participating in the General Assessment of the Activity.
