
This Monday (April 7th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) opens registrations for the first class of 2025 of the Literary Workshops. Now in its third edition, the project aims to encourage reading and critical reflection on contemporary issues, contributing to a more empathetic, inclusive and healthy work environment.
A total of 105 places will be offered, 35 per class. The programming will take place in a hybrid format, with reading circles for virtual debate and a face-to-face meeting.

Magistrates, server, trainees and community in general.
The project is promoted by the Projects and Contract Management Division of the Directorate of People Management (DIVPGC/DIGEP), in partnership with Esmat.
Programming
The programming for the first class of the Project on Literary Workshops will include three reading circles, with thematic approaches such as regional inequalities, gender, race and class oppressions, from the literary work: Torto Arado, by writer Itamar Vieira Franco. With a total workload of 10 hours, the meetings offer a space for active listening, dialog and sharing experiences.
The second and third classes of the Project on Literary Workshops are scheduled to take place in June and September, respectively, and they will reflect on gender, sexuality, indigenous and quilombola confluence.
The closing ceremony will be marked by a Cultural Sarau, with a performance by the Suça group and the participation of Master Patricinho, a representative of the Quilombola Community of the district of Chapada de Natividade, followed by a Round of Conversation.
