Seal Who Regularizes Dignifies: General Internal Affairs Of Justice Awards Municipalities In The State Of Tocantins For Land Regularization Initiatives

On Monday (November 25th), the General Internal Affairs of Justice of the State of Tocantins (CGJUS) recognized the 40 municipalities in the state of Tocantins that most promoted Urban Land Regularization (Reurb) in the last year. The second edition of the “Who Regularizes Dignifies” Social Responsibility Seal marked the end of the 1st State Forum on Land Regularization and was awarded in the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond categories.

“It is an immense joy and pride to be here today receiving the Diamond Seal. Many people in our municipality are happy with the land regularization work. I'd like to congratulate the Nupref team and the town hall, who have done their utmost to meet this demand,” said the Mayor of the district of Cariri, Vanderlei Antônio de Carvalho Júnior, on receiving the Diamond Seal.

Suelene Lustosa Matos, Mayor of the district of Lizarda, also celebrated winning the Diamond Seal. “This recognition is the culmination of everything we dreamed of and worked to achieve. Delivering the land regularization titles in our municipality was a big dream, and today we see the result of that effort,” she said.

In addition to the number of titles regularized in the municipality, the award assessed criteria such as the signing of the technical cooperation agreement with the Center for Prevention and Land Regularization (Nupref) and the creation of administrative structures that contribute to the Reurb process.

“There was a lot of participation, and it's gratifying to see the impact of this work, which brings citizenship through the titling of properties, bringing security and peace of mind to families. Through this seal, we want to motivate managers and their teams even more to act with commitment in making the program effective,” said Chief of Justice of the state of Tocantins and President of the National Land Forum, Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal.
