On December 2nd, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold the seminar on “The power of diversity and accessibility in the corporate environment”, in reference to the International Day of People with Disabilities, celebrated on December 3rd. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), in the city of Palmas, and it will be broadcast live via the virtual platform of Esmat to the countryside.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness of the importance of including people with disabilities in the job market, highlighting the challenges related to accessibility and the supply of vacancies. It also seeks to raise awareness about hiring people with disabilities and eliminating barriers in corporate environments.
The seminar, coordinated by Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho, will start at 2pm and will feature a varied programming, including: a “sensory café” activity; a round table with experts and a lecture on empowerment and diversity in business.
