August 5th Is The Last Day To Register For The Meetings Of The General Internal Affairs Of Justice With Registrars And Notaries In The State Of Tocantins

On August 14th, 15th and 16th, the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS) will host two important events aimed at improving the provision of extrajudicial services in the State. Those interested have until August 5th to sign up for the 1st State Meeting of the Registrars and Notaries of Extrajudicial Offices and the General Internal Affairs of Justice and the 2nd Seminar on Land Regularization and the Real Estate Registry Service in the State of Tocantins.

The meetings will open on Wednesday (August 14th) with a ceremony in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The program will begin at 6 p.m., with a tribute to the 30 years of extrajudicial services in the State of Tocantins and a keynote speech by Paulo Rogério Bonini, a Judge of the State of São Paulo, on the subject of DISJUDICIALIZATION AND EXTRAJUDICIAL SERVICES.

I state meeting

The First State Meeting of Registrars and Notaries of Extrajudicial Offices and the General Internal Affairs of Justice will be held on August 15th in the auditorium of the TJTO, with the programming starting at 8am. During the event, seven important topics will be discussed at round tables:

  • Topic 1: Relationship between the Chief Justice and the Delegates 

Speaker: Esmar Custódio Vêncio Filho - Auxiliary Judge of the General Internal Affairs of Justice, supervisor of the Notary and Registration Services of the State of Tocantins 

  • Topic 2: Notaries: current aspects

Speaker: Ana Paula Frontini – 22nd Notary of the State of São Paulo/SP

  • Topic 3: Extrajudicial Compulsory Adjudication

Speaker: Wagner José dos Santos - coordinator of the Notary and Registry Services of the General Internal Affairs of Justice of the State of Tocantins 

  • Topic 4: Rights and Duties of Interims

Speaker: Alberto Gentil - Law Judge of the State of São Paulo. Doctor of Law

  • Topic 5: Electronic Registration

Speaker: Fernando Pupo Mendes - registrar in the city of Tibagi/PR and Director of the National Operator of the Electronic Real Estate Service – ONR

  • Topic 6: New family configurations and their implications for the Civil Registry

Speaker: Emanoella Remigio - civil registrar of natural People of the city of Brejo da Madre de Deus/PE

  • Topic 7: Current perspectives on protest

Speaker: André Gomes Netto - notary and registrar of the 5th Office of the city of São João de Merit/RJ. President of the Institute of Securities Protest Studies of Brazil - IEPTB 

Also on the programming, there will be a presentation of the CGJUS project "Pai Presente" (Present Father) and the lecture on "A SimplesTOC of (SimpleTOC) Clarity in Notary and Registry Services", given by the coordinator of the Legal Advisory Department of the General Directorate and co-manager of the SimplesTOC Program in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, Roberta Maciel.

II Seminar on land regularization 

The II Seminar on Land Regularization and the Real Estate Registry Service in the State of Tocantins will be held on August 16th. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the auditorium of the TJTO, with the presentation of the WHO REGULARIZES DIGNIFIES award to all the municipal governments and real estate registry offices that have excelled in the process of regularizing informal housing estates in the State over the last year. Three main topics will be discussed during the programming: 

  • Topic 1: Urban Land Regularization: controversies and challenges arising from the Law No. 13.465 of 2027

Speaker: Vitor Kümpel - second-degree substitute Judge, assigned to the 4th Chamber of Private Law of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo

  • Topic 2: Land regularization: the case of the city Paranã in the State of Tocantins

Speaker: Márcio Soares da Cunha – Judge of Law of the State of Tocantins

  • Topic 3: Report of the Nupref Management 2023-2025

Speaker: Wellington Magalhães - coordinating Judge of the Land Prevention and Regularization Center of the State of Tocantins (Nupref/CGJUS)

Registrations for the meetings must be confirmed by August 5th. Participants must register separately for each event.
