Registrations for the II Seminar on Land Regularization and the Real Estate Registry Service in the State of Tocantins open this Friday (July 5th) and close on August 5th. The event will be held on the morning of August 16th, in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO).
A total of three hundred and twenty places are available for anyone interested in taking part in the activity. Registration is free, open to the public and they can be made clicking here.
Developed by the Superioir School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), the seminar aims to promote knowledge and training on land regularization and the real estate registry service in the State of Tocantins, aligning local practices with the FAO/UN guidelines and the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Programming
Contributing to land governance policy and sustainable development, the event will have a four-hour programming, with three lectures and the presentation of the "Who Regularizes Dignifies" Award. Also taking part in the opening ceremony will be Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal, Chief Justice of the State of Tocantins; and Judge Wellington Magalhães, coordinator of the Center for Prevention and Land Regularization (Nupref).
The first lecture will be given by Vitor Kümpel, a second degree substitute Judge at the 4th Chamber of Private Law of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo. The first Professor of notarial and registry law in Brazil from the University of the State of São Paulo and a doctor in civil law, the speaker will address the topic on "Urban land regularization: controversies and challenges arising from the Law No. 13.465 of 2017".
