Court of justice and Esmat hold III Citizenship Seminar of the State of Tocantins

The III Citizenship Seminar of the State of Tocantins will take place on October 26th, 2021. The event aims to reflect on the formation and construction/development processes of citizenship and human sociability, centered on Fundamental Human Rights, based on educational relations and on a conscious professional action, understanding that education is an adequate way to build alternatives and possibilities for a fairer and human society.

The seminar is an annual event held by the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Citizenship Coordination and the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT). In all, one thousand vacancies are being made available, with the target public being magistrates, employees, and servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and the community in general.

With a class load of 8 hours, the seminar will be held from 8am to 6pm. Those interested in participating will have until the day of the event to register.

About the lecturers

Adhemar Chúfalo

Graduated in Law from Franca Law School, 1999. He is currently a law Judge at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins. He has experience in the area of Law, with emphasis on Law No. 9099 of 1995; Conciliation; Human Rights, by Judiciary Decree No. 044 of March 6th, 2002, published in the Journal of Justice No. 997 of March 7th, 2002, to exercise the position of substitute law Judge for the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, by virtue of having been qualified in a public contest of tests and titles. Titular of the Special Civil and Criminal Court of Porto Nacional/TO, according to the Judicial Decree no. 441, of December 19th 2005, published in the Court Gazette no. 1.427, of December 19th 2005, where he remains until the present date. He has held the following positions: coordinator of mediation and conciliation courses before the implementation of Esmat - State coordinator of the Conciliation Movement - member of the Appeals Courts of the State of Tocantins - Judge in the judicial districts of Wanderlândia, Natividade, and Porto Nacional - coordinator of the Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (Cejusc), in the judicial district of Porto Nacional. Holds the titular Judge position of the Special Civil and Criminal Court of the County of 3rd Instance of Porto Nacional, State of Tocantins. Director of the Courthouse of the County of 3rd Instance of Porto Nacional, State of Tocantins. Member of the Permanent Commission for Accessibility and Inclusion of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins. Master's Degree, by the Professional Master's Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights, by the Federal University of Tocantins in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), 2019-2020. Undergraduate student of Psychology at Ulbra - Palmas. 

 

Adonias Barbosa da Silva

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás, 1980. He is currently a law Judge at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins. He has experience and he is a specialist in the area of Law, with emphasis on Special Rights.

 

Katia Ethiénne Esteves dos Santos

Post-Doctoral Student in Education, PUCPR. PhD in Education - Hybrid Education, 2018. Master's in Education - Distance Education, 2012, by the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of Paraná. Bachelor in Pedagogy, from Santo André University, 1988. Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies, from Santo André University, 1993. Specialist in Educational Technologies, from the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of Paraná. She worked as a teaching coordinator (EaD), at Positivo University, and as a pedagogical coordinator in the Development, EaD and Research area - Positivo Informatics Technology Education. She has been an educator for over 30 years. She has experience in the area of Basic Education, Digital Education, working mainly on the following themes: Continued Education, Teacher Training, Distance Education and Technological Education. Member of the Research Groups - PEFOP - Educational Paradigms and Teacher Training, by PUCPR, and Voices, Empowerment, Inclusion and Human Rights (CNPQ) and the Academic Innovation group (CNPQ). Participant of the scientific committee EDUCERE, 2015 and 2017. Student's advisor in postgraduate courses. Developer of EaD materials for Unesco. Works as an educational consultant for KMK - Consulting and Training -, giving lectures, workshops, outlining didactic learning paths, among other activities. She is an invited professor at PUCPR in Post-Graduation courses. She also works as a Coordinator of EAD PUCPR.

 

Maria Gabriela Prado Manssur

She has more than 20 years of work dedicated to the defense of women's rights and is one of the most active voices on this issue in Brazil. Idealizer of several public policy projects for women empowerment, equality, access to justice, and prevention and combat of violence against women. Creator of the website and instagram: @justiçadesaia, creator of the “Justiceiras” Project, @justiceirasoficial, website: justiceiras.org.br. She has published articles in several print and online media vehicles. She is a graduate of PUC/SP. Master's student in Political and Economic Law at Mackenzie. Specialist in Domestic Violence at the Universitá di Roma (University of Rome), Italy. Prosecutor since 2003. Currently she is an auxiliary member of the Women's Ombudsman Office at the National Council of the State Prosecution, General Coordinator of the Women's Commission (CONAMP), one of the members of the Special Group for Combating Domestic Violence of the State Prosecutor's Office of the State of São Paulo (GEVID). She was a professor of Digital Law at Insper, and at Damásio course she taught classes on Maria da Penha Law and the confrontation of violence against girls and women. She is a member of the National Committee ELES POR ELAS - HE FOR SHE - of UN Women. Coordinator of the WG on violence against women of Women's Turn.

 

Zita Ana Lago Rodrigues

Degree in Philosophy. Post-Graduate in Education Sciences, EaD Methodologies and Ethics and Political Philosophy, from UFPR. Master in Education - Higher Education, by FURB. PhD in Education - PHD - WIU-USA- UFRJ. University professor, lecturer and consultant for the areas of Philosophy and Ethics in Education, Educational and School Management, LDB-EM 9394-96, BNCC-EB, educational and institutional evaluation, trends in Brazilian pedagogical thought, high school, educational paradigms and changes in the educational context, among others. Currently she is a lecturer and consultant for the Teaching System Learn Brazil of Positivo Editor, with over 2,000 lectures, in person and online, given throughout the country. Visiting Professor at ULHT - Lisbon, Portugal, and UCSF - Santa Fé, Argentina. 16 published books and 11 cd-books with educational and philosophical themes, among them "Ethics, Education and Citizenship".

 

Marcelo Nalesso Salmaso

Law Judge of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo, trained in Restorative Justice, developing projects and actions in this field, since 2012. Member of the Restorative Justice Management Group of the São Paulo State Court of Justice. Member of the Managing Committee of Restorative Justice of the National Council of Justice. Member of the Working Group of the National Council of Justice, constituted in the years 2015 and 2016, for the elaboration of Resolution No. 225 of the National Council of Justice, 2016, and rapporteur of the normative proposal. Secretary for Restorative Justice of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates (AMB), since 2016. Coordinator of Restorative Justice in the Study Center of the São Paulo Association of Magistrates (APAMAGIS), since 2015. Collaborating Member of the Coordinator of Childhood and Youth of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Restorative Justice Center in the County of Tatuí-SP. Trainer and tutor by the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (ENFAM). Invited to give a  lecture cycle and conduct articulation visits in the Restorative Justice Program promoted by the United Nations Development Programm (UNDP) and the United Nations (UN) Peacemake Funding, in Guinea-Bissau, in October 2019. Presented the Restorative Justice Program of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo at the National Restorative Justice Symposium in Canada, in November 2019. Participated, as representative of Brazil, 

in the "Seminario Internacional y Taller sobre Justicia Restaurativa" (International Seminar and Workshop on Restorative Justice), promoted by the Ministerio de Justicia e Derechos Humanos de Chile (Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Chile) and the Programa de la Unión Europea para la Cohesión Social en América Latina (European Union Program for Social Cohesion in Latin America) (EUROsociAL), with the support of Unesco, in April 2018. Professional musician (trombonist) from 1995 to 2002.

 

Angela Issa Haonat

Post-Doctorate in Los Retos Del Derecho Publico (The Challenges of Public Law), from the University of Santiago de Compostela, 2019. PhD in State Law, with emphasis in Constitutional Law, from the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of São Paulo, 2011. Master's Degree in Law, 2004, from the Metropolitan University of Santos, with emphasis in Diffuse Rights. Specialist in Environmental Law (FSP/USP). Specialist in Criminal Law (EPM). Specialist in Contract Law (CEU). International MBA in Environmental Management (PROENCO). Professor of Undergraduate (Environmental Law and Constitutional Law) and Post-Graduation Stricto Sensu of the Masters Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights of the Federal University of Tocantins. Member of the Association of Professors of Environmental Law of Brazil (APRODAB). Member of the Brazilian Institute of Constitutional Law (IBDC). Member of the Editorial Board of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins. She has experience in the area of Law, with emphasis on Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Consumer Law and Electoral Law.

 

Sami Storch

Judge at the Court of Law of the State of Bahia since 2006. PhD candidate in Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (1999) and Master in Public Administration and Government from Getúlio Vargas Foundation - EAESP/FGV-SP (2004). Trained in Business Systemic Consulting, Coaching and Organizational Constellations - Bert Hellinger Approach (Coord.: Hoffmann & Partners / Germany - Brazil). Advanced Intensive Training in Family Constellations with Bert Hellinger by Hellingerschulle - Germany ("Hellinger Sciencia - Moving with the Spirit-Mind"). Since 2006, he has been achieving high rates of conciliations and finding successful solutions using the principles and techniques of systemic constellations to solve conflicts in Justice. He is a world pioneer in the use of the systemic-phenomenological approach of family constellations to promote conciliations and the resolution of conflicts in Justice. Author of the "Family Constellations in Justice" project, he received the Outstanding Award from the Integrated Conciliation Center of the Court of Justice of the State of Bahia in 2013, for the initiative. Awarded with the Honorable Mention of the Conciliate is Legal Award (V Edition - 2015) - Individual Judge Category, of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). Author of the “Direito Sistêmico” (Systemic Law) blog (systemiclaw.wordpress.com), where he publishes articles and news about the systemic view of law and the contribution of the science of systemic constellations according to Bert Hellinger for conflict resolution in several areas. He gives courses, lectures and workshops on Systemic Law and mediation, conciliation and conflict resolution with systemic family constellations.
