Judiciary discusses institutional security - virtual and physical threats

With the proposal to raise awareness about the institutional security, about social engineering practices that aim to manipulate people to obtain information or to do or not to do something, as well as to prevent against virtual and physical threats, inside and outside the Judiciary's premises, in accordance with the manifestation of the Intelligence Division, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) held, on Tuesday (21st), the Institutional Security Event - Virtual and Physical Threats.

At the opening of the event, Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho - coordinator of the Intelligence and Institutional Security Center of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins - stressed the importance of investing in knowledge and awareness of the institutional security. "When we talk about institutional threats, it involves the security of everyone in the Judiciary or who makes use of its premises and services. Thus, the purpose of this event is to present a snapshot of the present with a view to tomorrow," he said. 

Held in the format of a chat with answers to internet users, the event was attended by several authorities linked to security forces and digital intelligence, aimed at protecting the physical environment, dealing with the identification and management of risks based on prospective scenarios that may affect the physical integrity of servers, magistrates and other visitors to the physical facilities of the Judiciary.
