"Illness in the workplace: is it possible to avoid it?” lecture is held in the city of Colinas

The “Illness in the workplace: is it possible to avoid it?” lecture discussed occupational health, quality of life and emotional intelligence. The event, held this Monday (June 13th), is an initiative of the Health Center of the Directorate of People Management of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT).

The training aims to provide the beneficiaries with more behavioral skills that enable them to prevent diseases, improve their work environment and labor relations, powering their personal satisfaction, the feeling of cooperation, respect, and identity with the work.

Having as the instructor and lecturer the Master in social psychology, Evanuzia Luzia de Oliveira, the Event made 80 vacancies available for magistrates and permanent and commissioned employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, assigned employees and volunteer employees duly assigned to the Board of People Management of the Court of the city of Colinas.

The speaker explained about the importance of keeping an eye on the mental health of our employees, “we need to learn how to work, to be healthy, happy, and to have emotional intelligence. The pressures of demands and results won’t stop happening. That’s why we need to strenghten our emotions, so that these daily demands don’t affect our physical, emotional, and also our spiritual health”, she commented

 

Health Care Project 

The Health Care Project (PAS)  is a proposal of the 

é uma proposta do Management Committee for the Comprehensive Health Care Policy for Magistrates and Servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and meets the Resolution number 207 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), 2015.

The Project focuses on the adoption of preventive attitudes for the maintenance of health and the strengthening of the social bases referring to the work environment, expanding the commitment to citizenship, encouraging the improvement of interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, presenting its beneficiaries as holders of capabilities to contribute to the development of their work, as people capable of evaluating and changing, when necessary, their objective work conditions.

The Judiciary has been searching for positive examples, innovative practices that enable it to achieve its mission: "To guarantee citizenship through the distribution of a fast, secure, and effective justice.
