Registrations Are open for the See, Know, Celebrate and commit: Human Rights Education workshop

As a complement to the XIV International Congress on Human Rights, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will be developing, on October 17th and 18th, starting at 2pm, the See, Know, Celebrate and Commit: Human Rights Education Workshop.

With a workload of 8 hours, the training aims to provide interested parties with the opportunity to mobilize (know and practice) the different dimensions present in the teaching-learning processes of Human Rights Education: Seeing, Knowing, Celebrating, Systematizing, Committing Yourself, and Socializing, from the perspective of Candau & Sacavino.

The workshop will be held in person in the classroom of Esmat. Thirty vacancies are being made available for public servers, magistrates, interns and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; students, professors, professionals and members of the Human Rights education field.

The action will be given by the facilitators Patrícia Medina, Larissa Carlos Rosenda, Laudyone Edmailtom dos Santos Arruda, Liz Marina Regis Ribeiro, and Rayka Oliveira Soares Valadares.

XIV International Congress on Human Rights (October 19th – 21st)

Promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), since 2012, the XIV International Congress on Human Rights, with “The Protection of Human Rights in War and Pandemic Scenarios” theme, takes place from Wednesday to Friday, from October 19th to 21st, 2022.

With 20 hours, the program is distributed among conferences, panels, workshops and other dynamics. The event is free of charge and it will count with the participation of renowned speakers from Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, United States, Mexico, Spain, England, Bolivia and Mozambique.
