Course Focused On Practical Work In The Offices Of The Second Instance Starts This Tuesday, 7th

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold, from April 7th to May 19th, the course on "Civil Law and Civil Procedure in Practice: Technical, Resources and Precedents", in a semi-presential mode. The training is aimed at magistrates and civil servers working in the offices of the second instance linked to the Chambers of Private Law.

The course, which is coordinated by Justice Angela Issa Haonat and the civil server Glacielle Borges Torquato, aims to train participants in the technical, strategic and grounded application of the norms of the Code of Civil Procedure, with an emphasis on practical action in decisions, procedural manifestations, appeals and in the correct use of the precedent system, promoting more efficiency, legal security and quality in the judicial provision.

The programming will already start this Tuesday (April 7th), with the online lecture on the topic: "Brazilian Multi Door Justice System", taught by Fredie Souza Didier Júnior.

Subsequently, the course will feature in-person and EaD (Distance Learning) modules, addressing topics such as fundamental norms of civil procedure, cognition, answers of the defendant, general theory of resources, precedents, civil law applied to the civil jurisdiction, contemporary private law and commercial law. Among the learning facilitators are Marcelo Bezerra Ribeiro, Arnoldo Camanho de Assis, Rodolfo Pamplona Filho, Fernanda Paes Leme and Verônica Lagassi.

According to the Notice no. 059 of 2026, the registrations were made based on the nominations of the offices related in the Notice. In all, 50 places were offered.
