The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) holds the I Week of Excellence Management, training aimed at magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins. With the theme on "Judicial Management with Purpose: People, Processes and Results", the initiative seeks to strengthen the management of the judicial units through the qualification of routines, data analysis and the elaboration of plans of results-oriented management.
The action is in line with the guidelines of the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS) aimed at improving management and valuing the staff of the 1st Instance. Among the highlights is the realization of the first edition of the Week of Excellence Management, articulated to the Excellence Management Award.
The programming was structured in three axes: People & Communication, Data & Processes and Results & Deliveries. During the training, participants will work with reading indicators, using Business Intelligence tools, identifying bottlenecks and building management plans for the judicial units. At the end of the first stage, each unit will present a diagnosis, goals, indicators, managers, deadlines and immediate actions to the General Internal Affairs of Justice.
The activities are coordinated by the assistant judge of CGJUS, Manuel de Faria Reis Neto, and they will be held in person in the Central, South and North regions, with a 14-hour workload per class. Registrations will be made by nomination.
The coordinator of Correction, Planning and Improvement of the 1st Instance, Hyllaine Asevedo da Silva, emphasizes that the initiative is born from a need identified in the daily life of the units.
“General Internal Affairs noticed, in their corrective visits, that many servers were unfamiliar or had little familiarity with the Business Intelligence tools made available by the Court. From this, the concern arose to guide the units regarding the use of these tools, demonstrating how they can use them for a more effective management, based on data and indicators, rather than in concepts", she explained.
The training also counts on the presence of the civil server Joelma Moreira, who has already been assisting several units, further strengthening this proposal for close training, accessible and built in conjunction with those who experience the challenges of the judicial routine daily.
For the facilitator Joelma Moreira da Costa, the initiative also represents a moment of reflection on the performance in the Judiciary. "Participating in I Week of Excellence Management is an opportunity to reflect on the purpose of our work. When we invest in people, improve processes and focus on results, we can transform the way we deliver justice. Knowledge combined with a good management plan really changes scenarios. We need to know the systems and, at the same time, humanize the acts, because, in the end, data are lives", she highlighted.
