On December 1st and 2nd, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold a training for the GAIA Tool Pilot Project, an initiative aimed at magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.
The action is coordinated by the Presidency of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, under the leadership of Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal. Registration is by nomination based on the list prepared by the PRESIDENCY/DIGER/DTINF.
The course, which will be held in person at Esmat, was developed with the aim of providing legal, ethical, and technical understanding of the use of Artificial Intelligence, as well as practical skills for using the tools related to the project.
The content is structured in three modules, covering everything from the technical functioning of the tools to the legal and ethical aspects of the use of AI in the Judiciary, with an emphasis on the Resolution No. 615 of the National Council of Justice, of 2025, which regulates the application of these technologies in the Brazilian Justice System.
The programming includes practical demonstrations, simulated exercises, and rounds of conversation with guest experts, such as Justice Clóvis Mattana Ramos (TJRS), advisor Gabriel Milnitz Leite (TJRS), and civil servers Angelo Stacciarini Seraphin and Pamela da Rocha Pires (TJTO).
