The second meeting of the course on “Administrative Management”, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and coordinated by Judge Manuel de Faria Reis Neto, took place on Thursday (October 9th) at the headquarters of the institution in the city of Palmas. Aimed at court directors and employees of the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS), the class addressed the challenges of leadership in the judicial environment, with an emphasis on people management, diversity, and effective communication. On the occasion, Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho participated in the event to welcome the class.
During the activities, topics such as Inclusion, Tackling Harassment, Mental Health at Work, Ethics, Active Listening, and Building Collaborative Teams were discussed. The training proposal is led by Professor and federal judge Carlos Henrique Borlido Haddad, who highlighted the importance of training for the proper functioning of judicial units.
“The course on Administrative Management is aimed at Court Administrators. Each district and each location has its own administration and secretary, and they need management training. The reason is very simple: if the court administration does not function properly, the core activity can be completely compromised. So, the aim of the course is to try to present ways to better manage and run the court administration," he explained.
The training continues until this Friday (October 10th), with modules focused on institutional communication, organizational climate, innovation, and digital transformation in the Judiciary.
