The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) is open for registrations until June 12th for the course on Training in Accessibility and Inclusion. The training, developed in partnership with the Permanent Commission on Accessibility and Inclusion (CPAI), will be held from June 23rd to July 11th, in distance learning mode, through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and the Google Meet platform.
Coordinated by Justice Ângela Issa Haonat and Patrícia Idehara, executive secretary of the CPAI, the course aims to train participants to expand their knowledge of accessibility and inclusion, promoting judicial and administrative action that ensures the rights of people with disabilities and contributes to a more accessible and equitable Justice system.
The training is aimed at magistrates and civil servers from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and it will cover topics such as: the foundations of accessibility and inclusion, main concepts, types of neurodiversity and disabilities, normative acts relating to the inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as accessibility and inclusion practices within the scope of the Judiciary and judicial action.
