
The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) has opened registrations for the course on “Application of the Trial Protocol with a Gender Perspective to Guarantee Access to Justice”, aimed at judges and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.
The training will take place from May 12th to 30th, in distance learning mode, through the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (AVA).
With a 30-hour workload, the course aims to train participants to apply the Trial Protocol with a Gender Perspective, as provided for in the Resolution 492 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) of 2023, promoting more sensitive, inclusive and effective action in guaranteeing access to justice.
The activity is coordinated by Judge Cirlene Maria de Assis Santos Oliveira and it will cover topics such as intersectionality, feminist criminal dogma and criminal procedure, family law, the role of the judiciary in dealing with violence against women and jurisprudence from a gender perspective.

The classes will be led by Professors Alice Bianchini, Fabiana Cristina Severi, Soraia da Rosa Mendes and Luciana Lopes Rocha, and by Professor Eduardo Cambi.
