On Tuesday (April 1st), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) concluded the course on Writing, Official Drafting of Normative Acts and Legislative Technique, training magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary in the correct drafting, analysis and revision of normative acts, based on legislative principles, guidelines and techniques in accordance with current legislation.
The training, coordinated by Justice Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho, was given by Professor Valcir Gassen, who holds post-doctoral degrees from the University of Alicante and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, as well as a doctorate in Law from the Federal University of the state of Santa Catarina.
The 16-hour course covered the basics of the Constitutional Law and how to update and adapt technical legislation, types of language, the stages of the legislative process, legislative technique and its main aspects, and the development of a normative act, among other topics.
