The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), in partnership with Microsoft, is launching an innovative technology training program, providing participants with access to content of excellence and aligned with the most modern practices in the sector.
The first course of the program, “Fluency in Artificial Intelligence”, aims to train civil servers, judges from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and members of the community in general in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications.
The training, coordinated by Justice Marco Villas Boas, general director of Esmat, and Ana Beatriz de Oliveira Pretto, executive director of the the school, will cover topics such as Generative AI, the evolution of ONLINE searches, the productive use of BING CHAT and the ethical implications of AI in the legal context.
With this initiative, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) reaffirms its commitment to modernize the Judicial System, aligning itself with the guidelines of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and promoting innovation in the public sector. In addition, the partnership with Microsoft seeks to expand access to digital training, with a focus on digital inclusion, information security and artificial intelligence.
The course will be offered in a self-instructional (virtual) mode, allowing participants to follow the lessons according to their availability, through the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (VLE).

Classes and periods of registration:
- Class I: March 5th to April 13th (registrations from February 11th to 27th)
- Class II: April 14th to May 23rd (registrations from March 10th to 21st)
- Class III: May 26th to July 4th (registrations from May 7th to 21st)
