On December 5th and 6th, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) promoted the course on Notions of Gamification, aimed at civil servers and magistrates of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins. Gamification, which applies elements of games in non-entertainment contexts, has stood out as an effective strategy for increasing motivation, promoting positive behavior and boosting efficiency. The adoption of this methodology in the Judiciary meets the need to update institutional practices and strengthen the active participation of professionals.
The course was led by Rodrigo Mota Narcizo, who presented fundamental concepts such as the distinction between gamification and serious games, as well as recognized frameworks such as Octalysis and Player Type HEXAD. During the training, participants explored practical applications, understanding how playful elements can transform the working and learning experience.
As highlighted during the training, Gamification in the public sector is not just a trend, but a necessity for creating more collaborative, creative environments focused on human development.
