Between November 5th and December 13th, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold the course on Foster Family: Care and Protection in the Foster Care Service. With 80 places available, the aim is to train professionals from the multidisciplinary teams of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins to implement and improve the Foster Family Service.
The training, aimed at magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, accredited in the Multidisciplinary Team Management Group, managers of the Social Assistance Policy and technical teams linked to this policy, aims to promote the care and protection of children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability, respecting the legal principles and good practices of foster care.
The course will be held in distance learning mode, through the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (AVA), and it will be taught by facilitators Laizi Souza, who works in the coordination of services for children and adolescents who are victims of violence and at Cress/ABCDMRR, and Thaís Penha, a specialist in SUAS, with experience in training and supervising teams in Institutional Foster Care Services (SAICA) for Children and Adolescents.
