The National Council of Justice (CNJ) has made the course on Artificial Intelligence and Grouping Legal Texts available. The training is the result of a partnership among the CNJ, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Federal University of the State of Goiás (UFG).
The training is restricted to members of the Judiciary, with the target audience being technical civil servers from the Judiciary who work in the area of information technology, especially in the development of solutions for the Digital Platform of the Brazilian Judiciary (PDPJ-Br).
The course aims to enable professionals to develop new AI methodologies and tools, promoting innovation and increasing efficiency in the execution of justice.
Com carga horária de 15 horas em modo autoinstrucional, o curso está disponível na plataforma de educação a distância do CNJ, o Centro de Formação e Aperfeiçoamento de Servidores do Poder Judiciário (Ceajud).
With a workload of 15 hours in self-instructional mode, the course is available on the distance education platform of the CNJ, the Center for Training and Improvement of Servers of the Judicial Branch (Ceajud).
To pre-register for the training, you need to fill in the form. The information will be validated by CEAJUD and interested parties who meet the requirement of being linked to the Judiciary will be contacted and access to the course will be authorized.
About the course
The training presents the results of the Project of Grouping Legal Texts and AI, which uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI techniques to identify and group similar cases.
The course is divided into 10 modules and it covers topics such as the training of language models and the implementation of complex pipelines aimed at identifying and grouping similar legal cases using advanced techniques developed by experts in the field of AI.
No prior knowledge of AI is required to take the course. To receive the certificate of completion, the person must achieve at least 70% in the final assessment.

Trainings for the PDPJ-Br
The trainings are part of the Justice 4.0 Program, carried out by the CNJ in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the support of the Federal Justice Council (CJF), the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), the Superior Labor Court (TST), the Superior Labor Justice Council (CSJT) and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
