With the aim of training professionals from the technical teams of the Multidisciplinary Team Management Group (GGEM) of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins to work with victims of domestic violence, with a focus on understanding, managing and practicing reflective groups for men who have committed domestic and family violence against women, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) is running a course until December this year on the Judicial Policy for dealing with and supporting victims of domestic violence.
The training takes place online, through the Google Meet Platform and the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (VLE). Aimed at civil servers and professionals with degrees in Psychology, Social Work and/or Pedagogy, the course began on October 3rd.
This webinar of this Tuesday (October 8th), given by facilitator Poliana Alves de Oliveira, covered the various dimensions of violence, highlighting the typology and cycle of violence, especially in the context of violence against women. The class also explored Masculinity Theory, gender roles and the deconstruction of stereotypes. Public policies and legal marks were also analyzed, such as the Maria da Penha and Feminicide Laws, as well as the interaction between the Judiciary and the protection networks.
