On Monday (June 12th), the course on Improving the Approach to Reception and Clinical Listening was held at the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT). The action, which took place in person, aimed to train the members of the technical team of the Psychosocial Reception and Monitoring Center (NAPSI), of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, to deal more effectively and humanely with situations of workplace harassment.
Aiming to promote a more effective emotional recovery for the victims of harassment and contribute to a healthier and fairer work environment, the course approached the theme on "Harassment, discrimination, and their consequences to the physical and psychological health of male and female workers, especially in the Judiciary".
The person responsible for conducting the discussions was Professor Roberto Heloani. During the action, several relevant contents were approached, such as the consequences of bullying from the legal, psychological, and medical perspectives, the construction of evidence in cases of harassment, and the way in which the Justice System and other areas of the Public Power have dealt with complaints of bullying. The training aimed to provide the participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to identify, face, and combat workplace harassment.
