Esmat Opens Registrations For The Course On Trial Protocol With A Gender Perspective

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) announces the opening of registrations, starting this Monday (June 12th), for the course on Trial Protocol with a Gender Perspective within the Judiciary. The registration process will be carried out by the Secretariat of Esmat, following the indications made by the Presidency of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins and by the State Coordination of Women in Situations of Domestic and Family Violence (CEMSVID), through the SEI Case No. 23.0.000009403-0.

The course is aimed at magistrates from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and it offers a total of 100 vacancies. The training will take place from June 20th to July 7th, with a workload of 25 hours. Classes will take place on the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat, providing flexibility to the participants.

The main objective of the project is to train the participants to apply the Trial Protocol with a Gender Perspective, promoting a sensitive and impartial analysis of legal cases. Through this approach, existing gender inequalities will be considered and the guarantee of rights and equity in the judgment process will be sought.

The course aims to provide magistrates with the necessary tools for an aware performance guided by social justice. By understanding the particularities and challenges faced by women and other marginalized groups, it is expected to contribute to the construction of a more inclusive and gender-sensitive judicial system.
