Advisors from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins participate in the second part of the Sentence Elaboration Course

Aiming at learning the necessary tools to improve the writing of sentences in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, assessors from the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) participated, this Wednesday afternoon (March 15th), in the first class of the course on Sentence Writing – Part II. 

The training, which has a 46-hour class load, continues until May 19th with activities taught in person at Esmat by professors Daniel Tempski Ferreira da Costa, Tiago Gagliano Pinto Alberto and Joseane Aparecida Corrêa.

In this first moment, the students discussed the process of elaborating a criminal sentence, considering its peculiarities in different crimes and rites (e.g. robbery, theft, drug trafficking, domestic violence, sexual crimes, among others), besides reflections on the role of the magistrate in modern criminal procedural law.
