Esmat promotes training for the Therapeutic Justice Program

On Monday (June 7th), the classes of the Training for acting in the Therapeutic Justice Program began, in the distance modality, through the Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and Google Meet Platform. Conducted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), the course lasts 120 hours and runs until August 30th, 2021.

The course is intended for professionals accredited to work in the Therapeutic Justice Program (PJT), by means of a specific Notice of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) and/or who are working in the activities of the PJT; Civil servers (permanent, assigned, available or commissioned) and trainees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, who are working in the GGEM and/or in the courts and tribunals linked to the PJT; professionals from the inter-sectorial network partner services who work in areas related to the PJT's activities.

The objective of the training is to qualify professionals from different sectors and areas of knowledge to work in the Therapeutic Justice Program in the scope of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, in the district of Palmas, elucidating the main theoretical, methodological, and experiential aspects, as well as the guiding principles of the application/execution of the Therapeutic Justice Program.

About the Professors:

Mário Sérgio Sobrinho

Hubert H. Humphrey Program Fellow, with a specialization in Drug Courts and Drug Abuse, 2011. Doctor, in 2009, and Master, in 2002, in Criminal Procedural Law, from the “Largo de São Francisco School” of Law of the University of São Paulo. Graduated in Law from the Law School of Guarulhos, 1985. He has been a member of the São Paulo State Prosecutor's Office since 1989. He dedicates himself, mainly, to the study of the themes: Therapeutic Justice and Drug Courts.

César Gustavo Moraes Ramos

Psychologist, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, 2002. Master in Criminal Sciences, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, 2007. He served as special advisor and acting director of Human Rights in the Secretariat of Justice and Social Development of Rio Grande do Sul; professor of the graduate course in Child and Adolescent Law at the Foundation School of the State Prosecution of Rio Grande do Sul; and consultant for the National Policy of Humanization SUS - Ministry of Health / United Nations Development Program. He has also worked as coordinator and professor of the Undergraduate Psychology course CEULP/ULBRA; professor of the Undergraduate Law course CEULP/ULBRA; and consultant of the National Humanization Policy SUS - Ministry of Health/Pan-American Health Organization. He worked as an interlocutor in the REDES Project FIOCRUZ/National Secretariat on Drugs/Ministry of Justice. He was tutor of the Integrated Program of Medical and Multiprofessional Residency of the Foundation School of Public Health of Palmas/TO. He acted as a consultant on Custody Hearings in the Program Present Justice, in 2019, and Making Justice, in 2020, of the National Justice Council (CNJ) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). He is currently a clinical and institutional psychologist in a private practice in Palmas/TO.

Maria Angélica de Castro Comis

Clinical Psychologist, since 2004. Master in Sciences - Psychobiology/DIMESAD, by UNIFESP. Specialist in Behavioral Medicine and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, by UNIFESP. She actuated as a professor/clinical supervisor in Cognitive Behavior Therapy at UniAnchieta; former public policy advisor on alcohol and drugs (Municipal Secretariat of Human Rights and Citizenship of São Paulo). Currently, she is coordinator of the Center for Coexistence “Éde Lei” (Harm Reduction). Areas of emphasis: Clinical, Teaching, Research on substance abuse, Risk and Harm Reduction, and Public Policy.

Jorge Antônio Nunes Bichuetti

Passed the qualifying exam at the Triangle Mineiro Medical School, in Uberaba, in January 1979. He went from the 1st to the 6th grade of the medical course at the Triangle Mineiro Medical School, in Uberaba/MG, from 1979 to 1984. He took a Specialization course in Social Medicine, in the form of Medical Residency, which began on January 15th, 1985 and ended on January 15th, 1987. He took a Specialization course in Institutional Analysis and Schizoanalysis, from March 2003 to May 2004, at Presidente Antônio Carlos University, in agreement with Felix Guattari Institute, Barbacena/MG. He took a specialization course in Homeopathy at the Center for Specialization in Homeopathy, Uberlândia branch, from October 2013 to October 2015, Londrina/PR. He is an assistant doctor at the Center for Psychosocial Care (CAPS) of the Gregório F. Baremblitt Foundation, Uberaba/MG, from 1993 to the present date.

Jonatha Rospide Nunes

Graduated in Psychology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, 2003, with practices in the emphases of Clinical and Community Psychology. Master, by the Postgraduate Program in Psychology at the Federal Fluminense University, 2010, with the research theme of Implementation of Social Policies Directed to Guarantee the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Street Situations. Specialist in Preceptorship in SUS, by Sírio-Libanês Institute for Teaching and Research, 2016. Professional experience in the Psychology area, with emphasis in Educational Psychology in Higher Education (teaching, research and extension) and Technical Advisory (matricial in alcohol and other drugs and clinical-institutional supervision). Founding partner of Devir Therapeutic Space, where he works as a clinical psychologist in adult care and advisory/consulting in the areas of Health, Education, and Justice. Tutor of the Mental Health Program of the Integrated Multiprofessional Residency Program of Palmas/TO. Professor in the Social Service and Law courses at the State University of Tocantins (UNITINS).
