Course on land governance, land regularization, agrarian law and real estate registry starts its classes

The course on Land Governance, Land Regularization, Agrarian Law and Real Estate Registry, which is designed to train Judges, public servers and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins in order to standardize routines involving land conflicts, began on Thursday (June 2nd), in the distance learning modality. With a class load of 40 hours, the training is provided by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) and will run until June 30th of this year.

The classes are being taught by the professors Richard Martins Torsiano and Roberto Élito dos Reis Guimarães, and by the facilitators Jocy Gomes de Almeida and Wagner Jose dos Santos. Among the specific objectives of the course are knowing: the general theory of Agrarian Law and its basic institutes; the elements that give rise to the fulfillment of the social function of property; the Land Legislation of Brazil and of the State of Piauí and the instruments of privatization of public lands; the history of the Brazilian Real Estate Notary and Registration Legislation, among others.
