Registrations are open for the training course for conciliators and mediators in techniques for the prevention and treatment of over-indebted consumers

Applications for the TRAINING FOR CONCILIATORS AND MEDIATORS IN TECHNIQUES FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF OVER-INDEBTED CONSUMERS course, are open until June 6th, 2022.

In order to train conciliators and mediators in the correct application of consensual methods of conflict resolution in the consumer area, especially in the renegotiation / rescheduling of debts, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) is offering one hundred vacancies for DAJ-410 conciliators, Cejuscs’ employees, conciliators accredited at Nupemec, conciliators and trainees of Cejusc Ulbra, and the professors of Ulbra.

With a total class load of 20 hours, the course will take place from June 8th to 30th, 2022, and it will be taught remotely by the Master and Judge Umbelina Lopes Pereira Rodrigues.

The objective of the training is to properly use consensual methods of conflict treatment, especially mediation and conciliation, with an approach focused on the Consumer Law, in order to assist in the debt renegotiation for over-indebted consumers, as established by Law no. 14.181, of July 1st, 2021, which amended the Consumer Defense Code (Law no. 8.078, 1990), especially in what is stated in Article 104-A of the Standard, about the debt renegotiation process.
