Esmat conducts Basic Course on Extrajudicial Mediation - Practical Part

In order to train professionals capable of adequately applying consensual methods of conflict treatment, especially mediation and conciliation in Extrajudicial Notaries, with a view to social pacification and broad access to justice, the main objectives of the National Judicial Policy for Adequate Treatment of Conflicts of Interest, established by Resolution No. 125 of the National Council of Justice, of November 29th, 2010, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) is conducting the Basic Extrajudicial Mediation Course - Practical Part.

45 vacancies are being offered to notaries and registrars, holders or delegates of notary and registry services in the State of Tocantins who have already participated in the theoretical part in 2021. With a class load of 60 hours, the course will be divided into three stages and will take place between February 28th and December 16th, 2022. The activities will be developed in the Distance Learning modality, via Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment and Google Meet Platform. The course meets the Resolution No. 125 of the National Council of Justice, which deals with mediation and conciliation as appropriate means for conflict resolution.
