Interested in pursuing a career in the Notaries and Judicial fields has two important opportunities. The 3rd National Exam of the Registry Offices (ENAC 2026.1) is open for registrations until March 23rd, while the 5th National Judicial Exam (Enam, 2026.1) starts the period for those who wish to sign up next Monday (March 9th). Both exams have an eliminatory character and represent a mandatory stage for participation in future competitions in the areas.
In the case of ENAC, registrations must be made exclusively through the internet, on the website of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), organizer of the event, until 4 p.m. on March 23rd. The registration fee is R$ 150.00 (one hundred fifty reais), with payment allowed until March 24th.
The exam is a prerequisite for those who wish to compete in contents for the appointment and removal of notaries held by the courts of justice of the States and the Federal District. Unlike traditional contests, there is no competition for vacancies at this stage. The purpose is to enable candidates for future selections.
The objective test is scheduled for June 14th, with application in the Brazilian capitals. Bachelor’s degrees in Law can be attended by institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) or people who have exercised activities in notary services for at least ten years. The qualification obtained in the exam will be valid for two years, counting from the disclosure of the final result.
Enam
The registration deadline for the National Judicial Exam begins on Monday (March 9th) and it will continue until April 9th, with registration carried out on the website of FGV. The registration fee is R$ 120.00 (one hundred twenty reais).
Promoted by the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), the exam qualifies bachelors in Law to participate in future competitions of the magistracy carried out by the Brazilian courts.
The objective test will take place on June 7th, in several capitals of the country, including Palmas, allowing candidates from the state of Tocantins to take the exam in the State itself.
As in Enac, Enam has an eliminatory and non-classification character, with no direct competition for places. The certificate of qualification issued by Enfam is valid for two years, with the possibility of extension for the same period.
Hetero-Identification
Candidates residing in the state of Tocantins who self-declare black or brown must undergo the hetero-identification procedure, conducted by the Hetero-identification Commission of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The notice with specific guidelines on this step should be published next week.
