The Manager Committee of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence (LIIARES) held this Friday (20th), an institutional meeting, with the aim of analyzing and approving updates to the guidelines for the acceptance of new researchers and in the process of selecting research projects in Artificial Intelligence applied to the Justice System.
The initiative reinforces the institutional commitment to the strengthening of scientific research, technological innovation and modernization of judicial activities, in line with the guidelines of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ).
During the meeting, members of the Manager Committee of LIIARES deliberated on the academic, technical and institutional criteria that guide the entry of researchers linked to post graduation programs of Esmat, as well as civil servers of the judicial and technology sectors.
The updates consolidate parameters that ensure scientific relevance, practical applicability and alignment of research to strategic areas such as data governance, support for judicial decision-making, responsible innovation, and judicial education mediated by Artificial Intelligence.
About the Notice
The notice, with publication estimated for the month of March, provides for the selection of up to 11 research projects, distributed between modalities of researchers with a grant and volunteers, contemplating projects of different levels of post-graduation and encouraging the development of technological solutions aimed at administrative efficiency, digital transformation and improvement of judicial provision.
