Everything You Need To Know About The Training Actions Of Esmat In 2026

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) has already published the Annual Training Plan of 2026 (PAC). It is this document that organizes, throughout the year, the educational activities of the School: courses, workshops, seminars, post-graduation and training programs in different formats, in person, EaD (Distance Learning Education) and semi-presential.

In all, 162 actions are planned, which add up to more than 6,000 hours of training. It has a bit of everything, from basic courses to more in-depth training tracks such as specializations and masters. The themes accompany the challenges of the moment in the Judiciary, Artificial Intelligence, Restorative Practices, People Management, Innovation, Simple Language, Data Protection, Accessibility, Sustainability, among others.

Behind each CAP action is an important alignment. Everything that is planned takes into account the guidelines of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the Strategic Planning of the TJTO (2021-2026), the goals of Esmat itself and the real needs of those who act in the Justice System. To organize this set, the plan is structured in thematic axes.

What’s coming in the first months

January begins with organization, and the first months of the year have already confirmed movement. LATO SENSU post graduation classes in Educational Innovations for Teaching Practice and in Business Law and Agribusiness will be resumed.

The Training of Trainers, training accredited by the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), is scheduled to start in February and it is among the most awaited by the public of Esmat.

And for those who follow the Residency Program with access to Post-Graduation in Judicial Practice (PRJud - Class IV), it is worth remembering: there is no published notice yet, but some important documents have already been disclosed, such as the Resolution 635 of the CNJ (Sep./2025), Ordinance 3.844 of the TJTO (Nov./2025) and the Public Notice no 679 (dec./2025). The latter has only informative character, that is, it is not the selection notice, but it clarifies general points about the selection.

In March, three important programs begin their classes: the 14th class of the Master’s degree and the 2nd class of the Doctorate in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH). The next class of the Professional Master in Governance and Digital Transformation is scheduled to start on the 23rd. The Notice will be released on Monday, January 12th.

Events throughout the year

Some already traditional events of Esmat follow firm in the programming. Between April and June, they are planned:

• VIII Seminar on Public Policies for the Appropriate Handling of Conflicts
• IX Meeting of the Cejuscs
• III Adoption Seminar: Love in Action
• Harassment Week, with lectures on moral and sexual harassment and discrimination
• IV Meeting of Permanent Chief Judges (Encope)
• National Forum of the Judiciary for Health (Fonajus)
• VI Seminar on Socio-environmental Management

Other initiatives should be confirmed throughout the year.

An important advice 

PAC is a plan. It organizes and anticipates what is being prepared, but each action depends on some steps before happening, such as hiring professors, development of pedagogical projects, publication of notices and class structuring.

Therefore, all activities will be disclosed with their own notices, with date, target audience, objective and other necessary information. If any training needs to be rescheduled, it will be reallocated for the following months.
